About Camp Robin Hood
Founded in
1927, Robin Hood was carved out of the New Hampshire
wilderness and sprawls along its own half mile of
shoreline with broad, natural, white sand beaches awash
with water so clear you can see the bottom. With 200
level acres on the edge of New Hampshire's immense White
Mountain National Forest, we are seven miles from the
Maine border, one hour by car from Portland, Maine, and
two hours from Boston.
Camp Robin Hood is a traditional summer camp for both girls and boys. Campers range in age from 7 to 15, and can attend either a
two, four, six, or eight week session.
Camp Robin Hood's mission is to provide a nurturing environment in which lasting friendships are made. As our alumni
say:
"You don't join Robin Hood for a summer, you join for a lifetime."
The other central tenet is increasing self-esteem: campers' behavior is molded by building on their strengths and rewarding the smallest successes. The emphasis is on encouragement, accomplishment and recognition.

Road of Life accreditation recognizes Camp
Robin Hood's commitment to the health and well being of campers and staff.
