Of the five activity periods, two will typically be all-group
activities - usually a team sport or swimming instruction and recreation.
The other three periods will be individual activities selected by each
camper. Junior campers are encouraged to try all activities, while Senior
campers are given a greater opportunity to follow their particular
interests.
In addition to the typical daily schedule, our campers enjoy many
special activities: a trip program with out-of-camp opportunities for
mountain climbing, backpacking, canoeing, riding, fishing, and sailing; an inter-camp athletic schedule; all-camp excursions; our
Green and White color competition; and a specialty camp week during which
campers twelve years and older receive intensive instruction in the
activities of their choice.
The evening program includes group activities, sports leagues, drama
productions and other entertainment and out-of-camp trips. An occasional
"night out" might include a trip to the putt-putt golf course, a
movie, bowling, professional baseball game or an ice-cream outing.
