For one of the first times this summer, we had some rain! That didn’t stop us at Camp RobinHood. At 7 AM sharp, the Foresters and Shires boarded a coach bus headed to Boston. They are going to have an AMAZING few days exploring the city on their Excursion. After shoveling down some croissants, the Friars left on their white-water rafting excursion around 9:30.<\/p>\n
That left the Lancers and Arrows leading camp for the day, and boy did they do a great job. Despite missing the oldest third of camp, the dining hall was rocking at lunch with cheers and dancing.<\/p>\n
Regardless of the rain, we had a GREAT day. The TPs, Jugglers, Squires, Scouts, Tumblers, and Jesters watched a film in The Lodge this morning. This afternoon, the Squires, Archers, Yeomen, and Lancers played a camp-favorite, Hunger Games before finishing the day with a Beach Party. It just so happened that the sun started to peek out right around then.<\/p>\n
Tomorrow, we will welcome the Saxons, Scribes, and Bards back to camp. The Yeomen, Lancers, Quills, and Arrows will leave for Excursion later this week… However, maybe that will get postponed if Green and White starts.<\/p>\n
It’s hard to believe there are only two weeks left. We are savoring every moment with our RobinHood family. Sweet dreams from The Realm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
