A little rain didn’t stop us today at The Realm! Fortunately, it dried up here around 9:00 AM, right in time for a full day of activities. For the majority of the day, we just had Junior Camp plus Yeomen, Lancers, Quills, and Arrows. We started off the morning with an all camp Counselor Hunt, where counselors have a few minutes to hide before being chased by campers. This morning, we had about 170 kids running through camp trying to tag our awesome staff.<\/p>\n
Kids were rocking at the waterfront during multiple beach parties. The boats were zooming on the lake. Basketball, tennis, softball, and other sports were in full swing. It was a great day at RobinHood.<\/p>\n
Right before dinner, we welcomed the Saxons and Scribes back from Excursion, as well as the Bards. The Saxons and Scribes were in Portland for 2.5 days of fun. After surfing lessons, they explored the old town. The groups went lobstering on a boat, received a tour of Portland, ventured into nature, and had great food.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the Bards had a fun-filled 2.5 days out of camp themselves! After swimming and going to Moxie Falls the first day, on day two it was time for white water rafting! They chilled at the resort, had a karaoke night, and got to do some shopping as well. Today, they finished off with some axe throwing before returning to camp.<\/p>\n
Green and White energy was palpable at dinner with the three senior camp groups return. “When will it break?” and “Who will the captains be?” conversations can be heard at all times of the day. If it’s coming soon, we better get some rest…<\/p>\n
