As I sit along the shore of Lake Ossipee watching our Bards enjoying a game of Greasy Watermelon with the sun setting, I can\u2019t believe we\u2019ve been here for five weeks already!\u00a0 Our last two groups have set off on their excursions and by tomorrow evening the entire camp will be back in the dining hall.\u00a0 One BIG HAPPY FAMILY!<\/p>\n
Bows and Archers pulled out early this morning and set out in different directions, set to meet up shortly for an evening activity.\u00a0 Bows headed to Whale\u2019s Tale water park and had a beautiful, sunny day.\u00a0 They enjoyed waterslides and wave pools, a lazy river and more.\u00a0 With the chance of rain, we had to \u201cTHINK BLUE\u201d and it worked!\u00a0 The weather held up and they spent the whole day splashing around before heading to their campground to set up camp and cook dinner!<\/p>\n
Archers headed off to Monkey Trunks in Weirs Beach for a morning of high ropes courses and adventure.\u00a0 They headed out for a picnic lunch on Lake Winnipesaukee and went to Kellerhaus, an ice cream shop over 100 years old, for a cool treat.\u00a0 After ice cream they headed for bowling and arcade games at FUNSPOT before heading ot their campground to cook dinner before their evening activity.\u00a0 Both groups are meeting up for a drive-in movie tonight at one of the few New Hampshire Drive-In theaters.\u00a0 Minions or Inside Out\u2026 we\u2019ll have to wait for them to come home to know what they\u2019ve decided.<\/p>\n
Our Quills continued their trip by heading to Hampton Beach a day of relaxation before mini-golfing and heading to Prescott Park for an outdoor showing of Peter Pan, The Musical.\u00a0\u00a0 Yeomen went to Attitash Adventure and had the most incredible time.\u00a0 A pizza lunch was brought in before finishing up with their mountain coasters, water slides, zip lines and alpine slides.\u00a0 A dinner at Applebee\u2019s before heading to an evening of mini-golf was a great way to end the day.<\/p>\n
Camp is getting fuller every day with more groups returning home to The Realm.\u00a0 The lake was a buzz with boat rides, sailing, paddle boarding and canoe\/kayak and the fields are filling up with soccer and softball.\u00a0\u00a0 Open Tennis during third period and the woodshop and art shack are busy with Founder\u2019s Day gifts being made.\u00a0 All in all, it was a busy and productive day in and out of camp. \u00a0We can\u2019t wait to see what tomorrow will bring.<\/p>\n
