Getting to Camp Information
CAMP DATES
June 24 – July 23. . . . . . . First Session Campers June 24 – August 9 . . . . . Full Session Campers
• Jr Campers (ages 7-12) are encouraged to ship their bags regardless of means of travel. This allows our Jr Camper Counselors time to unpack their campers before arrival. Beds are made and clothes are organized in a cubbie ready for opening day.
• Sr. Campers may arrive at camp with their bags but are encouraged to ship bags ahead of opening day.
• Campers traveling to camp via plane or bus are required to have their bags shipped to camp. Campers who are traveling from abroad may travel with their bags.
• Tours of camp will not be permitted on opening day and parents/guardians will not be permitted to go to the bunks. Campers will be met at the drop-off tents by their counselors.
UPON ARRIVAL BY CAR
As camp draws closer you will receive an email requesting you to choose a time to arrive at camp for drop-off along with detailed instructions. On opening day you will be greeted at the front gate and will be directed to a set of tents where you will be met by your camper’s counselor, a member of the administration, and a member of the health center staff for check in.
TRAVEL BY PLANE
We encourage families to arrange their travel plans as early as possible as campes are able to travel together, and so you are able to obtain the lowest available fare. Please review all of the travel information on camprobinhood.com.
We will contact you approximately two days before camp to let you know the exact name of the staff member who will meet your child at the gate. Once your child is off the plane and met by our staff member, they will call you to confirm your child’s arrival.
TRAVEL BY BUS
We offer two bus options each summer; One traveling from New York and Connecticut and the other from Boston. To view bus travel information please visit camprobinhood.com. You can sign your child up to take the bus by completing the Transportation Form through CampInTouch.
