Meet Our Head Coaches!

Greg Schell is the director of youth hockey for the Toronto Maple Leaf’s. He has coached and developed dozens of top college and NHL players.

Coach Steve Maltais is a former NHL Player and 10 year Captain of the Chicago Wolves scoring over 600 professional goals in his career.

Coach Kent Allen has 20 years of AAA youth hockey coaching experience and has developed 5 current NHL and over 50 NCAA players.

Coach Cotton Gore played Division I college hockey in the WCHA, professional hockey in the WPHL, and has coached travel hockey for over 5 years.

Coach Sean Freeman played hockey at the AAA/junior/college and pro levels. He has been the varsity head coach at Highland Park High School for 18 years as well as coaching locally at the junior level.

Justin “Nelly” Nelson is a professional power skating and skills coach. He works with players in the USHL, NCAA, ECHL, AHL and NHL. He is the head skills coach for the Chicago Blackhawks Hockey Camps and works with several travel hockey teams across Illinois.
