I cannot believe it’s been 21 full days at camp as of tonight. I am writing this letter to you with the sounds of laughter and music blaring from the dinning hall. This has easily been my best summer ever as Owner/Director here at camp. The way the kids have all taken to the CRH magic is a never ending source of pride for us older people at camp.

Speaking of older people, I think one of the keys to this summer’s success has been (as usual) our incredible staff led by over 60 former campers. The addition of many more middle managers to watch over the staff and kids has made my job extremely easy. We have 15 people at our pre wake up meetings. Ranging in age from 21 to 80 these special people with over 275 years of CRH summer experience bring a passion, commitment, and love to CRH that is unmatched in the camping world.

We have had two many special accomplishments to name tonight. But for me, it’s the formation of 18 families out in the Realm. The way the campers and staff have bonded is always the highlight for me. Watching kids who were terrified just 3 weeks ago dance, sing, and cry with their brothers and sisters is heartwarming. We are all so comfortable and feeling confident in our summer home. The campers have learned to trust and lean on each other. I am sure that they have made life long friendships with both their staff and fellow campers.

As I said to the camp three weeks ago at our first dinner together: All I insisted is that they be kind and respectful towards each other. I asked them to step out of their comfort zones and try new things, thanked them for giving me the opportunity to be their biggest cheerleader this summer, and I promised that if they gave this place a chance – like Chuck Illig in his 59th summer, Michelle Brockman in her 35th summer, or Peter Corbin in his 25th summer – they too would look back at every summer as the best ever and learn to lean on their camp friends like none other.

Thank to you parents for trusting me and taking this leap.

As another great day on the lake draws to an end let’s take a moment to look over some of the highlights from the day.

Our u10 boys and girls embarked on a soccer journey to Wildwood, where they showcased passion and heart, unfortunately no victory this time but lessons learnt and heads held high none the less.

Meanwhile, our yeomen and lancers dove headfirst into our first swim meet of the year. We eagerly await their return to hear how they got on.

This afternoon, we granted our entire camp the gift of choice. Each camper handpicked their favorite activities, creating some very entertaining tennis games, electric volleyball rally’s, great soccer practices, and still hands at the rifle range. 

As the evening came closer we got our first rain in days, but it didn’t dampen the spirits of our campers as they all took the time to practice their dance in the bunks ready for the big show soon.

Another amazing day here at Camp Robinhood, and only a week until Parent visitation day, we are excited to welcome you all here. Until then goodnight from all of us here at Robinhood, enjoy your weekend.

As the sun blazed down upon Lake Ossipee, our campers embraced the heat with boundless energy and enthusiasm. Let’s dive right into the highlights of today:

Archery Triumph: Our talented archery team left their mark! They aimed high, hit the bullseye, and secured a fantastic third place. The joy on their faces was contagious – we’re beaming with pride!

Beach Bliss: The Quills and Arrows crew made a splash at the beach! They frolicked in the refreshing waters, laughter echoing across the shoreline. Cold water, warm hearts – a perfect combination!

Baseball Glory: Our baseball team faced off against neighboring camps and emerged victorious! The crack of the bat, the cheers from the stands – it was a thrilling game. Our campers’ teamwork and determination shone brightly.

Sunset Magic: As the day drew to a close, the sky transformed into a breathtaking canvas of pinks and oranges. The sun dipped below the horizon, casting its warm glow across Lake Ossipee. Our campers stood in awe, capturing this fleeting beauty in their hearts.

Overall Awesomeness: Today was a canvas painted with memories. From sunrise to sunset, every moment was filled with camaraderie, growth, and adventure. Tomorrow promises even more magic – stay tuned!

Greetings, Camp Robinhood Parents!

What a splendid day we’ve had here at Lake Ossipee! The sun greeted us with its warm embrace, and our young adventurers embarked on a delightful journey.

Breakfast Delight: Our morning began with scrumptious English muffins, freshly baked and served with a smile. The campers devoured them, their laughter echoing across the dining hall.

Surprise Excursion: Junior campers were in for a treat! We boarded buses and headed to North Conway, where the silver screen awaited us. “Disposable Me 4” had everyone laughing, gasping, and cheering. And what better way to cap off the cinematic adventure than with pizza for dinner?

Talent Unleashed: As the sun dipped below the horizon, our junior campers took centre stage. The talent show was a mix of creativity! We witnessed captivating acting, graceful dancing, soulful singing, and even a touch of magic. These young stars shone brightly, leaving us in awe.

Tomorrow Awaits: With hearts full of joy, we bid you goodnight. Rest assured, tomorrow promises another day of wonder, friendship, and discovery. Until then, sweet dreams, dear parents!
