The Lancers were up early for breakfast, loading up on fuel before heading out for part two of their excursion, paint balling, always a favourite. Meanwhile, the Arrows rolled into breakfast a little envious of the boys heading off camp again. But just as breakfast was wrapping up, the Arrows were asked to stay behind. Confused looks all around? had they done something wrong? What was going on?

Then Woody broke the silence, they were going to an escape room! Cheers erupted, and off they went, smiling from ear to ear.

Both groups returned later in the day grinning. Safe to say the girls made it out and the boys had a blast. Back at camp, with seven groups off camp, the rest of us enjoyed a relaxed day. Campers got to choose their activities and soak in the quiet, which was a nice change of pace.

Another great day in the books. With the final day of camp quickly approaching, everyone’s making the most of every moment here.

That’s all for now, talk soon.

The morning at the realm was hot, but things were only just heating up. With middle and senior camp departing from the gas pump for their extravagant excursions, camp was quieting down. Despite this, the Saxons and Scribes brought the energy to lunch with catchy chants and songs to sing along to. While the Foresters and Shires headed to Boston and the Friars and Bards went out to white water raft, the Lancers and Arrows had an action packed day consisting of an amusement park, enjoying the cinema, and eating at an authentic Mexican restaurant. During the evening meal, campers chowed down on some delicious Greek cuisine. As the sun set over Ossipee, campers enjoyed their evening activities with laughs and cheerful smiles.

What a fabulous day at camp! Before the rest of camp woke up, the scribes and saxons left for excursion in Portland, Maine. They will spend the next few days enjoying the water and the fun activities that their group leaders planned for them! Meanwhile, the bows and archers spent the day at Water Country, watching How to Train Your Dragon, and finishing off with dinner at chipotle! Tomorrow, the Yeomen, Quills, Jesters, and Squires will get to enjoy their excursions as well!

It was a pretty typical day in the realm, with lots of fun and excitement brewing for color war. The campers are eagerly setting predictions for the break, and cheering for green and white as loud as they can! We had dance parties, swam in the lake, and enjoyed one of the cooler days we have had all summer.

This is a BIG week with all of our excursions and the pending color war. The energy at camp is up, and we thank you all once again for trusting us. Sweet dreams from the Realm!

There’s something truly special about the energy in The Realm, and today was no exception. Although we had to say heartfelt goodbyes to our first-session friends, the day was filled with stories, laughter, and memories of the past few weeks. We’ll miss you dearly—and hope to see you next year!

Even the rain couldn’t dampen the spirit of Camp Robin Hood. A little water was no match for our excitement as chants of “Green!” and “White!” shook the dining hall, signaling that something epic is brewing. The air was electric with anticipation—Green and White fever has officially begun!

As pasta and meatballs were served, the lights flickered, and a hush fell over the room… only to be broken by the eruption of camp-wide chanting. Saxons and Scribes stood tall, and under Woody’s command, launched the entire camp into a thrilling hunt across the grounds. Laughter and cheers echoed through the trees

At the final stop—just when everyone thought the moment had arrived—the GOATS were there waiting. Only at Robin Hood could a Fake Break feel this real!

Woody closed the night with exciting news: the first excursions leave tomorrow! The Bows and Archers are heading out, and the Saxons and Scribes will embark on their three-day adventure to Portland early in the morning.

As the excitement settled and campers returned to their cabins, the skies put on one last show. A glowing sunset painted the horizon ending to a magical day at Robin Hood. The Realm is alive, and the summer is just heating up.

What could be better than welcoming parents onto the realm? Nothing comes close! We held our first and only parent visiting day of the summer. Parents eagerly lined up, waiting to be let in to see their joyful campers. The excitement was palpable as they rushed into camp, quickly receiving hugs and kisses from their delighted children. After touring the bunks and sleeping areas, parents joined their kids in various camp activities, including volleyball, basketball, tennis, and even pontooning!

As wonderful as this was, it was nearly surpassed by the phenomenal lunch—and let’s not even start on the cookies… Delicious!

As parents departed in the afternoon, we resumed our day, eagerly anticipating the final portion of camp, with so many more exciting events to come!
