Dear Parents,

Today was a classic camp day the kind of solid, sunny and memory making day that reminds us why we love this place so much.

The Scraxons proudly showed off their Mount Washington shirts, still beaming (and very sore) from their big hike accomplishment yesterday. Over on the fields, our flag football tournament ended in true Camp Robin Hood fashion, with a game-winning play in the final seconds that had everyone on their feet.

After a week of working hard and showing incredible effort, the Saxons and Scribes wrapped up the day with a well-deserved night of music, fishing, and a barbecue at Woody’s house, as the sun set behind the trees. It was the kind of evening that feels like a reward – for the kids, and for us too. Thank you for trusting us!

Warmly,
Camp Robin Hood

Another day, and another jam packed scheduled for the campers here at the realm. Starting off, we had a bunch of different teams playing intercamp today, with some being hosted here on camp and others being hosted off site. For instance, we hosted both a 13 and 15 and under girls basketball tournaments at camp. Our 15 and under team took home the trophy, whereas our 13 and under team fought hard, but lost in a tough and close final. We also sent a 13 and under team out to Birchmont to play tennis, while also sending an under 12 baseball team to Winaukee, and a 14 and under flag football team to wildwood. In addition to all these sports, we also have one of the highlights of the summer for evening activity tonight; the famous So you think you can dance! Every group got a chance to practice in the barn, and everyone is working unbelievably hard to put on a fantastic show tonight. It’s incredible to see all of the passion, dedication, and effort that all the campers are putting into their dances. We can’t wait for you all to see the results!
Best,

Intercamp was the talk of the realm today, as Camp hosted not just one, but two boys basketball tournaments! Our 13 and under boys team fought hard, but unfortunately, they lost in the playoff round and ended up finishing in third. Our 15 and under team made a deep run into the tournament, and the whole camp came out to support them in the championship game on the upper court. Unfortunately, our team came up short, but it was still a successful day full of effort and great sportsmanship. In other intercamp news, we sent a small group of campers to an all ages archery tournament at Camp Kenwood Evergreen, where we finished in second as a team. In addition to inter camps games, we also had our first optional hike of the summer up Mount Chocorua, where our hikers of course got to stop at Cozy Corner before returning to camp for a delicious dinner of fried chicken and French fries. On camp, the FNOO charity challenge cup has reached the semi-finals, and we are in for a real showdown. The Quills beat the Bows in bombardment today to advance to the semifinals, where they will take on Scouts and Tumblers, who also today advanced after beating the Yeoman in an epic game of bocce. On the other side of the bracket are the Saxons, and Archers, who each won their games last night during evening activity. Lastly, both the Squires and Archers got to Pontoon today to the main lake, which was a much needed cool off during a hot day. We are so excited for more optional hikes, pontoon trips, beach day, and more, that are all coming up in the near future!
Thanks and take care,

Greetings from camp!
Today brought a refreshing change in weather as a much needed rainy brought cool air and offered a break from the usual July heat. Despite the drizzle, our spirits remained high and the energy around camp was as lively as ever!
Some of our Shires had the opportunity to travel to Camp Evergreen, where they participated in an exciting volleyball tournament and coming home victorious. Back at camp, the Charity Challenge Cup continued with its final rounds. Campers gave their all in these fun and meaningful events, working together to earn points for their teams while raising awareness and support for some great causes. The dedication and creativity they’ve shown during the Challenge have been truly inspiring.
All in all, it was another memorable day filled with connection, competition, and community spirit.

Dear Parents,

Today was a wonderful day at camp filled with adventure and lots of smiles! Our oldest campers, the Saxons and Scribes, took a day trip to Ogunquit, Maine, where they spent time at the beach enjoying the ocean and the beautiful weather. At the same time, the Foresters set off on a mountain trip, hiking and exploring nature with great energy and enthusiasm.

We ended the day with girls camp and boys camp cookouts where everyone enjoyed burgers, hot dogs, Oreos and time with friends. It was the perfect way to wrap up a fun and memorable day!

Until tomorrow,
Camp Robin Hood
