Tension is growing at the realm. Rumours of color war breaking and chants for captain are taking over camp — but when will it break? And who will be captain? Both of these questions shall be answered soon.

For now, July 21st means we are nearly a whole month into camp, and it has gone by so quickly because so much has happened. Staff talent show, Junior camp talent show, So you think you can dance, Beach days, Hikes, Cookouts, Movies! Today was another great day. Even though the Saxons, Scribes, Friars and Bards were out on excursion, and even though the forecast promised rain all day, we still had a jam-packed schedule of activities.

The grey skies didn’t slow anyone down. If anything, the campers seemed to take it as a challenge — moving between activities with the kind of energy that makes a rainy day feel just as bright as a sunny one. There were games to be won, projects to finish, and plenty of laughter.

That’s the thing about this place: the weather can do what it likes, and the realm carries on regardless. Our campers are happy, busy, and making the most of every single day.
