Today was another unbelievable day at Robin Hood, and quite the busy one for travel, as today we had the same number of groups off of camp as there were on!

The day started off with the Saxons and Scribes leaving for excursion at 7 in the morning. After a quick breakfast, the groups boarded on a couch bus down to western Massachusetts, where they will enjoy a variety of different activities in the metro Boston area. Just to name a few, they will get a chance to see the basketball hall of fame, go to 6 flags, and even have lunch at UMass Amherst to experience a college dining room!

In addition to the Saxons and Scribes, we had six different groups all go out on their own excursions, all leaving at 9 AM. Namely, the TPS, Jugglers, Squires, Scouts, Tumblers, and Jesters. Of course, while these six groups didn’t go to the exact same places, they shared in their respective activities, as their excursions featured things from a water park, amusement park, watching a movie, getting McDonald’s, Chipotle, and swimming in a lake off camp.

The last group that left camp today for excursion was the Friars, who right off the bat, got to go white water rafting! The boys will be gone for another two days, and there are surely many more fun activities for them to follow.

Even though we had nine groups out for excursion, the out of camp trips still went on strong, as this morning, our 15 and Under girls volleyball team (featuring Bards and Shires) took a trip to Kenwood Evergreen to partake in a volleyball tournament. The girls ended up victorious, going undefeated in the process! Additionally, in the afternoon, our 13 and under boys basketball team (featuring Lancers and Yeoman) took a trip to camp Takajo for a basketball tournament. The boys won the whole tournament as well, while also going undefeated in the process. It was an incredibly successful day for intercamps!

Here at the Realm, just because so many groups were off camp didn’t mean that the fun stopped, as today our second oldest boys and girls groups got to lead camp in cheers at lunch, and we had an all camp (for those that were here) dance party to Taylor Swift. Moreover, we had some great evening activities tonight, as the Yeoman went on for a pontoon trip, and the Archers had an epic game of Hunger games around camp. Of course, nothing beats the sunsets at camp, and tonight’s was truly a special one.
