Bring on the red, white, and blue! This 4th of July, we went all out with a star-spangled celebration we will never forget. From head-to-toe patriotic outfits to all-American festivities, it was a celebration to remember.
Decked out in their boldest reds, whites, and blues, the campers marched, cheered, and waved their handmade group posters in our annual Camp Parade. The Jesters took the lead in the junior camp competition of most spirited being first in line for dinner, with the Bows following proudly.
The Saxons and Scribes took the reins in bringing the festivities to life. They designed and hosted a series of fantastic booths and games that had the entire camp laughing, cheering, and celebrating together. From fun fortunes, marriage ceremonies, and fighting to be victorious in our classic pie challenge. While the festivities on the Quad were ongoing, other groups partied at the beach, jumped around on the inflatables, and celebrated in the Barn, the afternoon was packed with fun at every corner.
The anticipated carnival dinner had everyone beaming as they enjoyed a festive spread of fried dough dusted in powdered sugar, golden fries, warm pretzels, corn dogs and everyone’s favorite Jello.
As the fireworks echo around camp and the celebrations come to an end, we thank you for letting us share these magical moments together.
Wishing you had a joyful, safe, and sunshine-filled 4th!
