Woodchuck June 29th

Hi parents, I hope all is going well for all of you, and I hope that this nightly woodchuck is providing you all with enough insight into the daily events taking place here at the realm.

Today (as is every day) was quite busy, featuring practices, out of camp trips, and all out fun! The day started off with the Shires going for a morning swim at Diana’s bath, where they got to hike on a brief trail before swimming in the outdoors. Speaking of swimming, the Tinker Pagers and the Jugglers got to enjoy a morning pontoon trip to the main lake where they swam, played in the sand bar, and had an overall fun (and wet) time!

In the afternoon, the Yeoman took a hike on the beautiful Rattle Snake mountain, where they got to enjoy a great view from the top, and got ice cream from Cozy Corner on the way home!  Right before lunch, the 15 and under boys (featuring Friars and Foresters) practiced for their upcoming game against West End Camp on July 3rd. The Foresters fun didn’t stop there, as they got to take a similar trip to the Tinker Pagers and Jugglers, in that they also took a pontoon trip to the main lake (however, there’s was in the afternoon). The Foresters played football in the sand bar, and enjoyed the scenic time off of camp.

The day ended with a great dinner, where we had ramen noodles with steak and chicken. It was unbelievably delicious and for desert, we had chocolate chip cheese cake! Yensi outdid himself tonight!.

Lastly, we had a great evening activity, featuring our first challenge of the summer! The Archers challenged the Yeoman to a game of bombardment where the Yeoman won 2-1 in a hard fought contest. The night ended like every other in a beautiful day on camp, with a picturesque sunset.

Thanks for reading!
Take care, and until next time,
Cooper
